As a Texan transplant who really misses Texas style Kolaches I’ve got to say these were even better than some kolaches back home. The egg, cheese, sausage, jalapeno kolache is absolute perfection and you can’t go wrong with a classic sausage and cheese. I make the hour drive from Pittsburgh whenever I have the chance!

If you haven't had a Kolache before - just go! The flavors are so unique and delicious. There are a lot of sweet and savory options to choose from, whether you are enjoying breakfast or lunch. They are always freshly baked and often still warm! Absolutely my favorite breakfast stop. I also bring them to parties and gatherings... They are a hit every time. My favorite is the bacon and cheese kolache. Kids love the cinnamon twists (adults too)!

We tried twice at the Cafe once during lunch hours and another time during breakfast. So we were able to try both their breakfast and lunch kolaches. We tried gyro from their lunch menu, cheese egg sausage jalapenos and cheese egg bacon from their breakfast menu. Other than that we tried double chocolate and cream cheese Kolach as well and they are scrumptious. About drinks we tried 3 musketeers both the times it was just perfect. Even the balance of coffee and chocolate was better than Starbucks with the perfect amount of sweetness. They do sale the kolaches from a day before at flat 40% off. I would like to try their biscotti perhaps the next time. They have a old town heritage restaurant feel as far as the ambiance goes. The parking at rush hours on weekend would be a little challenging. We had challenges when we went during the lunch time on Saturday. Morning are better I would say. Also they run out of items very fast so it is likely that you would not get want you want if you are late. There are seating area but the restaurant is mostly popular with take out. If you want you can eat in once after getting your order. The service is very good and every service person is really wonderful. The view from the restaurant is good as well. But I donot think that they have high chair so if you have a small child you may not eat in. The items in their menu is not expensive. We were billed under 25 for two people both the times with 15% tip. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

Walked in about 6:45am and no line. I was getting kolaches for about 10 people that had never had any before. They were great to make recommendations on a variety for a wide selection. And it was a big hit!

I cannot say enough good things about Cafe Kolache. Everyone here is always so helpful and kind even when the shop is incredibly busy. The kolaches themselves are amazing in every form. Always a cool rotating drink menu and a variety of brewed coffees and teas as well.
